Films and Cinematography – Where I have spent most of my time and energy for the past 20 years or so.

Feature length Film

I recently finished a feature length documentary film about my Wild-West sharpshooting grandmother, Wanda, called, “Wanda the Wonderful”.   Here is the website for more info on that project:

Short films, Directing and Shooting

I have made numerous short films and video projects, and was a Cinematographer in the film industry for fourteen years.  You can see more of my work on my Vimeo channels, here:

Cinematographer for Music Videos in the 90’s

I shot a lot of music videos in the 1990’s, during a lively time in the Chicago music scene.  I was DP for many lower budget projects, and shot on either 16m or 35mm film.

I also shot Second Camera for Director Nancy Bardawil on a number of big budget, higher profile music videos, shooting mainly hand crank camera.  I also did a fair amount of motion picture film hand-processing, a bit of time lapse cinematography, as well as film loop projections.  These elements brought additional texture, visual variety, and artistic dimension to the projects.  It was a lot of fun!
