I made my first film with a Double 8mm film camera that I found in my Grannie's attic, to accompany an electronic music composition that I had made. My roots in experimental filmmaking can be felt in my current work as I keep an open-minded approach to the medium, both conceptually and aesthetically. My films have won awards at Ann Arbor Film Festival, Onion City Film Festival and Houston Worldfest, and have appeared in numerous festivals and screenings world-wide. I have 14 years of experience as a Director of Photography with four feature films to my credit as well as numerous short films, documentaries, music videos and promos. I am also an accomplished photographer, my still photography having won awards and been published and exhibited in the US and Europe. I have lived and worked around the world and currently call Dallas, Texas my home, where I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cinema Television, Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University.
