"Don't
Taze Me Bro!" Jalan Crossland’s “Don’t Taze Me Bro!” is the first in a series of "raw music performance" videos. These short videos are extremely stripped down, featuring only the musician, their instrument and the live sound (as opposed to a pre-recorded song). My intention is to capture that pure and raw experience of the musician engulfed in his or her art as it happens, without any sort of technological or filmic intrusions and without the gloss and potential sterility of the standard music video genre.
